»We must train the communities in such a way that they are able to protect their children from unscrupulous traffickers on their own«, emphasizes Amihan Abueva, Coordinator of the terre des hommes Campaign against Child Trafficking in Southeast Asia. A network of more than 150 organizations is therefore committed to enlisting at least 10,000 places in the region for the program »Our village protects its children«. The villagers of the participating villages are informed about child trafficking and taught to protect their families.
